We're having issues keeping our heads out of the clouds these days - after pining away for a trip to space on Virgin Galactic we've opted for the next best thing - the feeling of weightlessness with Zero Gravity Corporation. So far about 3000 people have made their way up to 32,000 feet and then plunged 8,000 feet in order to get about 25 seconds of zero-gravity. One flight on the modified 727 gives you about six minutes of zero-gravity time. There are only five planes in the world that can create zero-gravity - one's ours, one's Russian, the European's share one, and Zero Gravity Corporation has the other two. Two other companies in the US arrange zero-gravity flights but they use ZGC's planes. Want to hang out in weightlessness? Expect to shell out about four grand, the next flights are in mid-January. We're going to hold out for the Virgin adventure.
