Atlanta's own Hartsfield-Jackson Airport took the crown for the second year in a row as America's busiest airport. Over 975,000 flights (landings and takeoffs) were logged. Chicago's O'Hare came in a tight second logging just under 960,000 flights, though they claim that they could have beaten Atlanta if it weren't for the FAA picking on them. Atlanta also claims to have the most passengers running through its gates than any other airport in the world - no way to confirm this though as the FAA doesn't keep stats on people. The third busiest was Dallas-Fort Worth International.
